Brent Sedge represents clients in commercial and business litigation, employment disputes, real property and construction matters, creditor rights, and landlord-tenant matters. On the employment side, his practice includes litigating discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, and Texas Labor Code, as well as non-compete enforcement, trade secret misappropriation, and related business torts. Brent also provides ongoing employment advice and counseling to businesses on handbooks, restrictive covenants, workplace policies, and risk management. He handles cases in state and federal courts throughout Texas, as well as arbitrations, from pre-suit demands through trial and appeal, including emergency injunctive relief.
Prior to joining Hajjar Peters, Brent practiced at national and Am Law ranked firms where he litigated employment discrimination, retaliation, and wage claims. He also handled multi-state privacy and data-breach class actions, employee-defection and trade-secret matters, and a range of commercial disputes. Brent also has advised large businesses on privacy compliance, including data protection policies, notices at collection, and related risk management.
Brent previously served as an Infantry Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division.
